What is an Initial Production Check (IPC)?
Before production
begins, our team initiates an identification and evaluation
process with your intended Chinese supplier. This service is
available either at the vendor’s office or in-factory. This is
done to ensure that your supplier understands your precise
manufacturing needs and there is no dispute over the details of
your order.
What do we look for during an IPC?
We then proceed to analyze your order and vet the materials and components needed. This will give us better insight into the production process including production samples, outlays, production schedules,
quality control process, and
mechanisms, as well as factory quality control solutions.
What is the advantage of an IPC?
Next, the Initial Production Check
enables you to arrange the production test necessary to procure a
golden sample. This offers a preliminary assessment of the factory
quality control and production capability and also mitigates any
premature impediments or otherwise unforeseen circumstances.
What kinds of goods does GIS® provide inspection
services for?
GIS® provides quality inspection
services for Hardlines and garment inspection services for
Softlines. Hardlines or “hard goods” are essentially non garment
inspection items, which include home furnishings, electronics,
jewelry, and sports equipment. Softlines or “soft goods” includes
apparel, accessories, and footwear, which fall under garment
quality control.
Why should I retain GIS® quality control and
inspection services?
Beyond quotations, samples, reactivity,
or manufacturing capability, it is challenging for international
buyers to implement and monitor specific quality control
inspections. GIS® can help your company eliminate production
issues and work with you every step of the way to ensure your
order is made and shipped according to your requirements in terms
of materials, process, and, schedule. Our IPC service allows you
to focus on what’s important for your business while we manage the
factory production process for quality products from China.
